JOB SUMMARY We’re seeking a Project Manager who is structured, proactive, and solution-oriented to lead strategic and operational projects within our Indian production unit. You will be responsible for coordinating projects from planning to execution, ensuring on-time delivery, high quality, and clear communication with our U.S.-based team. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong sense of ownership, agility, and sharp analytical skills. Experience in the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and oversee all production-related projects, including operations, quality, compliance, logistics, maintenance, and process improvements. Coordinate and maintain relationships with external vendors, contract manufacturers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and alignment with project objectives. Serve as the primary liaison between the Indian and U.S. teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, effective communication, and timely updates. Develop and maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules; manage resources, identify dependencies, and monitor timelines. Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure resource optimization without compromising quality or compliance. Identify and evaluate project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and resolve challenges proactively and constructively. Create, revise, and improve SOPs and workflows to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including progress, costs, productivity, and quality metrics. Ensure regulatory compliance with GMP, FDA, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 standards, in collaboration with QA/QC teams. Use project management tools (e.g., ClickUp , Asana ) to organize tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor overall project flow. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and leadership teams to align goals and ensure seamless execution. Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes; recommend innovations or technology upgrades when beneficial. QUALIFICATIONS & Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in project management within an industrial setting, ideally in nutraceuticals, supplements, or food manufacturing. Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, FDA, and FSSC 22000 regulations. Proven ability to analyze data, manage project budgets, and optimize resource usage. Professional-level English communication and reporting skills (written and spoken). Proficiency with project management platforms like ClickUp, Asana, or similar. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously. A startup mindset: agile, adaptive, fast-learning, and growth-oriented. High level of initiative, ownership, and solution-driven attitude. Sound understanding of risk management and the ability to implement mitigation strategies effectively. PREFERRED QUALITIES Prior experience in the food, nutraceuticals, or supplement industry is a strong advantage. Experience coordinating with international teams is a plus. PMP certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
