Job Title: Project EngineerLocation: Noida Department: Engineering / Automation Reports To: Controls Engineering Manager / IIoT Solutions Lead Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and innovative PLC Programmer with a strong background in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions and modern industrial automation systems. This role will focus on developing, integrating, and maintaining PLC-based control systems with real-time data connectivity using advanced communication protocols and cloud-connected platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major PLC brands like Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric , etc  and in-depth understanding of protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, CC-Link, OPC UA, and EtherCAT etc. . Key Responsibilities: l Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automation systems using platforms such as: n Mitsubishi (GX Works, iQ-R series) n Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500 series) n Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix) n Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, Modicon) l Integrate PLC systems with IIoT platforms, edge devices, SCADA systems, and cloud platforms for data collection and cloud connectivity. l Configure and manage industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP, l Support system architecture development for smart factory environments, predictive maintenance, and remote monitoring. l Support OT/IT convergence by ensuring robust data exchange between field devices, MES, and enterprise-level systems. l Collaborate with cross function teams to ensure reliable OT/IT integration. l Conduct on-site commissioning , FAT/SAT testing, and ongoing technical support for deployed systems. l Maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC code, network setups, and IIoT workflow, snetwork architecture, communication mappings, and device configurations according to industry standards. Requirements: Education & Experience: l Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. l 5+ years of hands-on experience with PLC programming and IIoT integration. Technical Skills: l Advanced knowledge of programming PLCs from Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Schneider Electric . l Familiarity with HMI/SCADA development tools such as WinCC, FactoryTalk View, or Vijeo Designer. l Strong command of industrial communication networks and fieldbus systems listed above. l Strong understanding of networking concepts , fieldbus protocols, and industrial cybersecurity. l Experience with edge devices, data acquisition systems, and real-time monitoring solutions. Soft Skills: l Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. l Effective communication and technical documentation skills. l Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork. l Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. l Willingness to travel for site work and system commissioning. Preferred Qualifications: l Professional certifications in PLC programming (e.g., Mitsubishi Q/R series, Siemens S7, Rockwell).
