Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time-bound research project sponsored by the CSIR (Grant No F. 22 WS(0007)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE ) for a temporary period purely on a contractual basis as per the following details: Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)Project Title: Catalytic Reforming of Simulated Bio Oil for Hydrogen Production Funding Agency: Council of Industrial and Scientific Research (CSIR)Banasri Roy, Department of Chemical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus Project Tenure: Two Years. Job Description: The JRF is expected to carry independent literature study, Catalytic activity study using custom reactor set up, characterizations (XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, FTIR, DTA-TGA, RAMAN, etc) of the catalysts and data analysis. He/She will compare these results with the existing relevant literature and apply scientific/engineering knowledge to analyze those and write paper/patent. 4 years programme BPharm/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/MSc/ BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test- the score card must be valid at the time of interview. Sc//BE/BTech/M.with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test -the score card must be valid at the time of interview) or equivalent degree in Chemistry/Physics/Chemical Engineering /Material Science / Nano Technology or relevant areas. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates. Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the Ph D program of BITS Pilani, subject to fulfilling the requirements of the Ph D qualification process as per the institute norms.
