Critical Skills to Possess: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience writing code in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Java Script, or Go). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) is a plus. Strong interest in cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure ; exposure to GCP or AWS is also valuable. Understanding of core security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption, least privilege, etc.). Comfortable working in a Dev Ops or agile engineering environment. Good collaboration and communication skills across engineering and security teams. Eagerness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity space. Bonus: Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals , SC-900 , or Security+ are welcome but not required.
