Job Purpose The Litigation Strategy candidate will develop and implement comprehensive litigation strategies, manage litigation cases to reduce the NPA and increase the collections. Also to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes. This role requires a proactive legal expert with strong analytical skills and experience in litigation management Key Accountabilities Develop and implement litigation strategies that align objectives of the company and risk framework. Create Strategy to Increase the collections through implementing legal tools for debt recovery Make process in order to manage from pre-litigation through trial and settlement phases. Monitor and evaluate litigation outcomes to inform future strategies. Do the regular analysis of the outcome of legal tools based on geography, customer profile, and specific tools and plan the future actions accordingly Coordinate with internal legal teams and external counsel for case preparation and management. Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support strategic decisions. Maintain detailed data, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures. Prepare reports and presentations on litigation status and strategy for senior management. Support negotiation and settlement discussions to minimize risk and exposure Job Duties & Responsibilities (List the principal duties of the incumbent. Lead the development and standardization of legal and operational policies to reduce turnaround times for legal filings, arbitrations, and documentation retrieval Monitor legal on legal procedures for asset possession, debt recovery, short fall recovery and settlement strategies within legal frameworks Monitor litigation progress, analyze risks, and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate potential legal and financial impacts Support the legal and recovery through litigation processes Coordinate with internal legal teams, external counsel, and regulatory bodies to manage litigation cases from inception through resolution Drafting and vetting of legal documents Experience (Indicate nature and extent of work experience including number of years required, if applicable.) Bachelor’s degree from law National law school or any top-rated Legal Schools Minimum 3-5 years of experience in litigation strategy, management, or related legal roles in any top rated law firm or consulting firms Strong understanding of litigation processes, court procedures, and legal research. Proven ability to develop and execute effective litigation strategies. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software Experience in financial sector will be an added advantage Education / Preferred Qualifications (List the minimum and preferred qualifications required to perform all essential functions, including field of study) Bachelor’s degree from law National law school or any top-rated Legal Schools Core Competencies (State the qualities, skills, behaviours and attitudes that the incumbent must possess in order to perform the responsibilities of this position.)
