Manager – Training DepartmentReports to (Title) : Training Manager / HR ManagerCompany : Madura Coats Pvt LimitedJob PurposeTo assist in planning, organizing and delivering effective training programs that enhance employees’ skills, productivity, and compliance within the manufacturing environment. Ensures continuous development of workforce across various department including production, maintenance and quality control.Key Responsibilities1. Training Planning & ImplementationAssist in identifying training needs through skills gap analysis and coordination with department headsSupport the creation of annual training calendars and plansDevelop training modules and materials for technical, safety behavioural, SOP, New recruitment based on job requirements and soft skills2. Training DeliveryOrganize and conduct in-house training sessions for operators, Supervisors and staffCoordinate with external trainers, vendors and consultants when requiredMaintain training attendance, feedback and effectiveness records3. Evaluation & ReportingAsses the effectiveness of training through post-training evaluations and feedback analysisPrepare periodic training reports and dashboards for management review4. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure training records are maintained as per ISO or other industry standardsSupport compliance-related training such as fire safety, PPE usage, First aid and labour laws5. Continuous ImprovementSuggest improvements in training processes based on workforce performance and production goalsStay updated with the latest training trends and technologies relevant to textile industry6. Team CoordinationSupervise junior training staff or coordinatorsCollaborate with production, HR and quality departments for integrated training initiativesKey Skills & CompetenciesGood knowledge of textile production processesStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work with all levels of staff from floor workers to senior managersExcellent organization and documentation skillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, Textile Technology or related fieldMinimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in training, preferably in a manufacturing textile unitAt Coats Group, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a diverse and collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
