Job Description: Business Manager – Solar & Renewables - Start up Location: Greater Noida, UP (On-site) • Full-Time Company: Indieuro Climate Care Private Limited (ICCPL) Reporting To: Founder & CEO About ICCPL ICCPL is a fast-growing solar IPP & EPC startup backed by strategic investors, with a 200 MW order book under PM–KUSUM A & C and other utility-scale projects. Combining startup agility with institutional rigor, we deliver bankable, impact-focused renewable assets—and are scaling rapidly toward 1 GW+. We’re now expanding into solar-wind hybrids, energy storage, compressed biogas, small hydro, waste-to-energy, transmission systems, and BESS. Role Overview As Business Manager – Solar & Renewables , you will be ICCPL’s principal driver of new project origination—via both formal bidding and secondary-market acquisitions—across diverse renewable technologies. You’ll partner directly with the Founder & CEO to build our pipeline, structure deals, and secure all approvals, delivering a “white-glove” experience so ICCPL never has to “run around” itself. Most Important Aspect: Leverage your high-caliber network and influence to secure timely approvals and term-sheets from ministries, DISCOMs, banks, and NBFCs. This Role Is For… A Connector & Influencer: Deep relationships with senior officials in MNRE, DISCOMs, state ministries, banks, and NBFCs—able to open doors and accelerate approvals. A Deal-Maker: Skilled negotiating acquisitions and bids to maximize ICCPL’s returns. A Financial Strategist: Expert in DPRs, IRR/DSCR modeling, subsidy and DSRA design across solar, hybrid, CBG, hydro, WTE, transmission, and BESS. A Self-Starter: Comfortable building processes from scratch in a high-growth startup. Key Responsibilities Opportunity Identification & Pipeline Management Source projects via KUSUM, SECI, state RFPs and secondary-market takeovers. Expand ICCPL’s portfolio into solar-wind hybrids, BESS, compressed biogas, small hydro, WTE, and transmission. Maintain a live pipeline dashboard (LOI → PPA → financial close). DPR & Business Planning Lead DPRs and feasibility: site surveys, SLDs, CUF/WPF studies, cost estimates, and risk matrices. Develop business plans and financial models (IRR, DSCR, CAPEX/OPEX). Bid & Acquisition Strategy Drive tender responses and negotiate secondary-market deals. Coordinate technical, commercial, and legal inputs; ensure compliant submissions. Project Finance & Deal Structuring Architect debt–equity financing; manage subsidy draw-downs, DSRA, escrow. Negotiate term-sheets with banks, NBFCs, and investors. SPV Creation & Compliance Incorporate/govern SPVs: MoA/AoA, DIN/CIN, PAN/TAN, and bank mandates. Oversee regulatory filings and ongoing compliance: MNRE, DISCOMs, SNAs, MoPNG, SECI, GST/TDS/ROC, audit readiness. Government & Stakeholder Liaison Represent ICCPL with ministries, DISCOMs, SNAs, regulators—applications, site visits, follow-ups. Fast-track land, grid-connection, environmental, and technology-specific clearances. Investor & Partner Engagement Support equity/debt raises: pitch decks, data rooms, due diligence. Build alliances with farmer cooperatives, energy associations, OEMs, and transmission utilities. Candidate Profile Experience: 5+ years in renewable-energy project development, consulting, or investment banking—covering solar, hybrid storage, CBG, hydro, WTE, transmission, or BESS. Network & Influence: Well-connected with MNRE, DISCOMs, state agencies, banks, and NBFCs; proven ability to leverage relationships to accelerate approvals and term-sheet negotiations. Commercial Acumen: Mastery of Excel/VBA modeling, subsidy integration, and multi-technology finance structures. Technical Foundations: Familiarity with DPR elements for varied technologies (SLDs, CUF/WPF, plant design). Startup DNA: Hands-on individual contributor—building processes and driving initiatives from scratch.
