Key Responsibilities Oversee and support students through the entire undergraduate admissions process, from onboarding to final university decisions. Guide students in developing strong academic and extracurricular profiles, including research, internships, competitions, and community impact projects. Strategize personalized student journeys by advising on subject selection, standardized testing, university shortlisting, and long-term academic planning. Review and provide detailed feedback on all application components, including personal statements, SOPs, LORs, essays, resumes, and forms. Step in for complex student cases to offer direct mentorship, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality outcomes. Manage and mentor a team of counselors, ensuring consistency, timely communication, and adherence to admissions timelines. Coordinate with internal teams—mentors, editors, and test prep specialists—to align strategy and execution for each student. Organize internal trainings, case reviews, and brainstorming sessions to strengthen team capabilities. Provide expert guidance on U.S., U.K., and Canadian admissions platforms such as Common App, UCAS, and OUAC. Advise families on academic equivalencies, scholarship opportunities, interview preparation, and offer comparisons. Maintain clear communication with students and parents, provide regular progress updates, and ensure client satisfaction. Track and document student milestones to ensure timely completion of deliverables and a smooth admissions process. Share insights and feedback with leadership to support operational improvements and elevate the overall student experience. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably from or with experience studying in the U.S., U.K., or Canada). 2–4 years of experience in academic counseling, university admissions, or education advisory roles. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in academic and admissions writing. Proven organizational and multitasking abilities, with the confidence to manage multiple high-stakes student timelines. Empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive—able to build trust with students and families and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Collaborative mindset; comfortable working cross-functionally with mentors, editors, and academic leads. Familiarity with undergraduate/postgraduate platforms such as Common App, UCAS, and OUAC is strongly preferred. A passion for education, student growth, and lifelong learning.
