Job Description

About the Role To be responsible for the operations in India for a global recruitment solutions company. Role Responsibilities • Direct the development and implementation of India goals and objectives set by the board • Participate in the development of the organisation's strategic plan • Evaluate needs and recommend opportunities for business development and expansion in India • Develop the brand and associated sub-brands within the region • Grow market share within the region • Provide leadership to ensure optimal utilisation of resources to achieve corporate and regional goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and meet customer needs • Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders involved in the overall management of the region • Create, execute, and interpret policies relevant to India operations • Review and evaluate the overall India performance on a continuous basis, and provide direction for system modifications or implementation of new systems • Anticipate and address issues that may present opportunities or risks to business outcomes • Support, communicate, reinforce, and represent the mission, vision, values, and culture of the organisation • Oversee recruitment and retention of all direct reports • Mentor, guide, and coach direct reports to expand their capabilities and build organisational leadership depth • Lead and effectively implement all special projects as appropriate Experience Required • Minimum 15 years of experience in Resourcing/Recruitment • Minimum 10 years in a leadership-based role • Strong track record in both domestic and international markets • Extensive background in new business and client development • Proven experience managing multi-functional teams (Delivery, Operations & Finance) Expectations • Consistently deliver results in line with expectations, on time and within forecast • Proactively promote the company both internally and externally • Adhere to company behaviours and foster a ‘One Team’ culture • Maintain in-depth market knowledge, including competitor activity and industry developments • Challenge the status quo
