Job Title: Trainer – Upskilling Program Location: Palarivattom Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 2–4 years in training or sales enablement, preferably in Digital Marketing or EdTech About the Role Xylem Learning is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Trainer to lead end-to-end learning initiatives across both the Upskilling and Commerce Program verticals. This role focuses on onboarding new hires, enhancing ongoing sales capabilities, and retraining underperformers to ensure every team member is equipped for success. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in digital platforms and instructional delivery but also adaptable, approachable, and passionate about consistently coaching teams to excellence—whether during onboarding or when someone needs a second chance through retraining. Key Responsibilities Training Delivery & Facilitation • Conduct structured induction programs and refresher sessions for both Upskilling and Commerce Program teams. • Ensure timely completion of training batches with high attendance compliance. • Develop customized, product-specific training content that aligns with team goals. Commerce Program Sales Enablement • Educate teams on commerce offerings (CA, CMA, ACCA), including structure, paper breakdowns, and progression levels. • Equip teams to confidently address student and parent queries using programspecific insights. • Deliver practical role-plays and demos focused on common commerce counseling scenarios. Digital Sales & Upskilling Orientation • Train sales teams on modern digital platforms and lead-generation strategies— such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and AI tools. • Promote best practices in CRM usage and digital-first communication. • Instill consultative selling techniques tailored to working professionals and career-switchers. Retraining & Performance Recovery • Identify employees who are falling behind in performance metrics. • Design targeted retraining plans and deliver custom coaching sessions to support their improvement. • Track progress post-retraining and provide leadership with status reports and next steps. • Foster a supportive environment that encourages re-engagement and learning. On-the-Job Training (OJT) & Coaching • Guide team members during their OJT phase and provide real-time feedback. • Conduct buddy sessions and 1-on-1 coaching to reinforce learning outcomes. • Monitor session quality, provide shadowing opportunities, and resolve learning gaps. Feedback, Reporting & Documentation • Gather regular feedback from trainees and translate it into action plans. • Maintain training documentation, batch performance records, and session evaluations. • Submit detailed reports to management on training progress, retraining efforts, and trainee growth. Process & Program Improvement • Recommend new tools, modules, or simulations to enhance training effectiveness. • Keep updated with industry shifts, tool updates, and evolving learner needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training aligns with operational goals. Who You Are • A strong communicator with natural teaching instincts. • Equipped with experience in digital marketing, sales training, and EdTech. • Analytical and empathetic—capable of identifying issues and retraining effectively. • Proficient in tracking performance metrics and adapting training accordingly.
