Job Title: Lead SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Experience: 6–9 years Location: Chennai (Work from Office), Chennai based candidates preferred. Salary: Up to ₹24 LPA Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium , Playwright , or Cypress Lead testing efforts across UI , API , and Performance layers Implement automated test scripts using Java , Python , TypeScript , or C# Conduct and own API testing using Postman , SOAPUI , or REST Assured Drive performance testing using tools like JMeter , LoadRunner , or Gatling Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases Setup and maintain the test environment and troubleshoot network and deployment issues Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins , Bamboo , or Buildkite Lead code versioning and collaboration using Bitbucket or GitHub Monitor and report test results using JIRA , Zephyr , or other test management tools Plan and execute test cycles following Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies Required Skills & Experience: 6–9 years of professional experience in software testing and test automation Strong programming skills in Java , Python , TypeScript , or C# Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium , Playwright , or Cypress Strong understanding of HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and web technologies Familiarity with web protocols and APIs: HTTP , HTTPS , REST , GraphQL Proficient in web element locators (CSS selectors, XPath, dynamic elements, iframes, etc.) Experience with Postman , SOAPUI , and REST Assured for API automation Solid understanding of performance testing and tools like JMeter , LoadRunner , Gatling Experience with version control tools (Git , Bitbucket ) and test management tools (JIRA , Zephyr ) Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins , Bamboo Good understanding of AWS or Azure cloud platforms
