About Lynk Lynk is the world’s first and only satellite-direct-to-standard-phone provider, with a commercially licensed network and live deployments across 50+ countries. We’re building a space-based cellular network that keeps everyone connected, everywhere. Role Overview We’re looking for an experienced Team Lead to lead our India-based engineering team focused on networking and wireless systems. You’ll drive technical execution across RAN, core network, and automation workflows, and collaborate with our global teams to scale development, testing, and infrastructure capabilities. What You’ll Do Lead and grow a local engineering team focused on network and wireless product areas. Oversee technical design and implementation across: Software-defined networking (SDN), LTE/5G RAN systems, and Automation frameworks for test and deployment Collaborate with US-based counterparts to align on roadmap, architecture, and execution. Build internal tools, dashboards, and observability systems to monitor and validate network behavior. Set up robust processes for CI/CD, testing, and performance validation. Mentor engineers and drive high performance and ownership. What We’re Looking For 8+ years of experience in telecom, wireless, or network software domains. Solid hands-on experience with telecom protocols, LTE/5G systems, or satellite communications. Strong software engineering foundation — ideally in C++ or Python. Prior experience working with SDRs, embedded systems, or test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot). Proven track record in leading engineering teams and managing cross-functional delivery. Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud networking, and observability tools. Nice to Have Exposure to systems testing, RF test setups, or physical-layer development. Experience with global or remote-first teams. Interest in space, satellite, or emerging communication technologies.
