SAP MM / WM Consultant II Job Summary: The SAP MM with WM Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM ) processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the chemical manufacturing sector and demonstrate expertise in optimizing procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: - Implementation and Configuration: - Configure and implement SAP MM and WM modules to meet the specific needs of the chemical manufacturing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Procurement Management: - Manage the procurement process for raw materials, chemicals, and packaging materials, including vendor selection and purchase order management. - Optimize purchasing strategies to reduce costs and improve supplier relationships. Inventory Management: - Implement batch management and quality inspection processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations. - Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support production schedules and minimize stockouts. Warehouse Management: - Configure and optimize warehouse layout and storage strategies to ensure efficient handling of hazardous materials. - Implement barcode and RFID technologies for accurate tracking of inventory within the warehouse. Compliance and Quality Assurance: - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, OSHA) and company policies related to chemical handling and storage. - Conduct regular audits and inspections of inventory and warehouse processes. Support and Maintenance: - Provide ongoing support for SAP MM and WM applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions as needed. - Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to enhance user understanding and system utilization. Reporting and Analytics: - Develop and maintain reports on procurement, inventory levels, and warehouse performance to support decision-making. - Utilize SAP Analytics tools to derive insights and recommend improvements. • Qualifications: - Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP MM and WM modules, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry. - Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and warehouse operations. - Experience with batch management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is mandatory. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
