Job Title

This role essentially requires the candidate to be well versed with registration formalities for import of cosmetics with CDSCO. Will be point of contact for cosmetics manufacture in India using CMO sites Work Exp: Quality professional with about 3-5 years in reputed Cosmetic Company as per role requirements. A good network with CDSCO officers is highly recommended Role & Responsibilities: Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Cosmetics Rules, 2020, and other relevant regulations governing cosmetic products in India including ingredient compliance check, product claims and labelling details Documentation Skills: Ability to prepare and manage various documents, including applications, licenses, and technical specifications. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with CDSCO and other stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information, identify potential issues, and propose solutions. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address challenges and ensure smooth processing of applications. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and information. Proficiency in Online Portals: Ability to navigate and use the SUGAM portal for application Desired Candidate Skills: Application Preparation: Compiling and submitting applications for cosmetic registration on the SUGAM portal. Document Management: Gathering, organizing, and submitting all necessary documents, including product specifications, testing methods, manufacturing licenses, and free sale certificates. Compliance: Ensuring all applications and processes adhere to the Cosmetics Rules, 2020, and other relevant regulations. Communication: Interacting with CDSCO officials, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to address queries and ensure smooth processing of applications. Follow-up: Tracking the progress of applications and addressing any deficiencies or requests for additional information. Knowledge Maintenance: Staying updated on changes in regulations and guidelines related to cosmetic registration. Quality Control: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all documentation and information submitted to CDSCO Qualifications: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Any additional certification in cosmetics is preferred
