Job Title: Azure API Tester Location: Chennai Experience Level: 10-14 yrs Key Responsibilities: Responsible for execution of testing end-to-end, from preparation to completion. Create test plan, test strategy and test cases based on project plan, functional requirement and technical design. Perform functional and non-functional testing. Design and execute manual and automated API tests. Identify, report and track defects and work with developers to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with business users and development teams for test execution and completion Maintain test documentation and reports. Qualifications: Experienced in functional and non-functional system testing within IT industry Familiar with software testing techniques such as boundary value analysis Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI, and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium would be added advantage Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, APIs (REST and SOAP), data format (JSON, XML), data encryption and digital signature would be added advantage Familiar in software quality assurance methodologies such as TDD, BDD. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Knowledge in Azure cloud technologies.
