Job Title:US Sales Tax Manager / Sr. Tax Manager Location:Remote Experience Required:8+ years in Indirect Taxation, with a focus on US Sales & Use Tax Qualification:Preferred (Not mandate) Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedUS Sales Tax Managerto oversee the end-to-end management of sales and use tax compliance for our US operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in multi-state US indirect taxation, be a qualifiedCA or CPA ( Preferred, Not mandate), and have hands-on experience with sales tax filings, audits, and tax automation tools like Avalara or Vertex.Key Responsibilities: Manageend-to-end US sales and use tax compliance , including accurate and timely filing of returns across multiple states and jurisdictions. Liaise with external consultants, state departments, and auditors forsales tax audits, notices, and inquiries . Monitorlegislative and regulatory changesin US indirect taxes and assess business impact. Providetax advice to internal stakeholderson customer invoicing, pricing structures, and procurement tax implications. Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensuresystem tax settingsare accurate and updated. Assist withprocess improvementsand automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce risks. Maintain thoroughdocumentation and controlsto support tax positions and audit readiness.Qualifications & Skills: Minimum8 years of relevant experiencein US sales & use tax, including filing and compliance Strong knowledge ofmulti-state tax laws, and exemptions Experience handlingstate audits and notices Strong analytical and reconciliation skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
