JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with experience in both manual and automated testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and contribute to building robust, scalable applications. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and write detailed test cases. Execute manual tests to validate functionality, usability, and performance. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs. Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved. Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to understand features and technical implementation. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks. Report on test coverage, defect metrics, and overall QA health. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and automation). Strong understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, etc. Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Good knowledge of any programming language used for automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience integrating tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience testing web and mobile applications. Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
