Job Title: E-commerce Developer – Shopify & BigCommerce Location: Chennai | Hybrid Experience Level: 2–3 Years Experience Employment Type: Full-Time Who can Apply? About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and versatile E-commerce Developer with 2–3 years of experience in Shopify and BigCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in theme development, customization, API integrations , and app development to build and scale modern online stores. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to work across systems and frameworks to deliver high-performance, feature-rich solutions. Key Responsibilities: Shopify: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping providers , and other apps via REST & GraphQL APIs . Manage store operations including product setup, pricing, inventory, and order flows . Work with headless e-commerce setups and storefronts powered by Shopify APIs. BigCommerce: Design, develop, and customize BigCommerce themes using the Stencil framework . Integrate third-party services and APIs for enhanced store functionality. Develop custom BigCommerce apps to extend store capabilities. Utilize BigCommerce APIs for data operations Technical Skill Set: Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, React Back-end: Node.js, PHP, or Python Platforms: Shopify (Basic to Advanced), BigCommerce (Stencil & APIs) API Work: RESTful & GraphQL APIs, third-party integrations Version Control: Git Tools: Shopify CLI, BigCommerce Dev Tools Qualifications: 2–3 years of hands-on experience with both Shopify and BigCommerce platforms. Experience in either Shopify or BigCommerce alone will also be considered. Strong understanding of e-commerce business operations.
