Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned Sales Team Lead to drive enrolments for distance and online degree programs offered by premier Indian universities. You will oversee day-to-day sales operations, mentor a high-performing team, deliver outstanding customer service, and craft data-backed strategies that fuel sustainable growth in the domestic market. Key Responsibilities ·        Lead & Motivate the Team Recruit, train, and supervise sales counsellors, setting clear targets and providing ongoing coaching. ·        Sales Strategy & Execution o  Develop and implement quarterly and annual sales plans for distance/online programs. o  Analyse market trends in India’s higher-education landscape to uncover new enrolment opportunities. ·        Client Engagement o  Conduct consultative interactions with prospective students and parents, guiding them from initial enquiry through application. o  Maintain collaborative relationships with university partners to ensure up-to-date program knowledge. ·        Data-Driven Management Monitor KPIs, prepare performance dashboards, and present actionable insights for continual process improvement. ·        Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing and counselling teams to deliver coherent messaging, campaigns, and events tailored to the local audience. Required Qualifications ·        Minimum 3 years’ proven success in sales leadership within distance/online higher-education or education-consultancy sectors. ·        Demonstrated expertise in team management, customer service, and consultative selling. ·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into strategic action. ·        Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive presentation abilities. ·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (advanced degree an advantage). Preferred Attributes ·        Familiarity with Indian higher-education regulations, accreditation, and distance-learning frameworks. ·        Hands-on experience using CRM and analytics tools to manage enrolment pipelines. ·        Aptitude for organising webinars, virtual fairs, or on-ground events targeting learners.
