Results and Market Development (RMD) represents the circulation arm of the organisation. The RMD department also focuses on generating sales and increasing readership for BCCL publications. The function begins from mail room packing and dispatch right up to delivering the newspaper to the reader. It is responsible for enabling more and better audience aggregation and for driving newer revenue streams from reader engagement. This is done by reaching out to different segments and expanding the horizons onto new ventures. Job Title: Trade Marketing & Reader Acquisition Manager Working Days: 6 days a week (Tuesday weekly off) Experience: 8+ years of Experience (6-7 years of team handling experience) Key Responsibilities: Reader Acquisition Manager for Project Beam: Reader Acquisition Manager responsible for driving newspaper subscriptions through society and corporate outreach. The role includes end-to-end planning and execution of reader acquisition activities in housing societies, corporate hubs, and other relevant touchpoints, supported by data-based targeting. Field Activities for Beam : Mon – Wed – Thu – Fri : 09:30 hrs – 11:30 hrs office reporting & Field RWA or Corporate visit 12 noon to 6pm. Saturday – Sunday – Household Acquisition – Activities in societies – 9am to 3pm Field - Sales Visit RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations) to obtain permissions for conducting subscription drives (both full cover price and discounted models), e.g. events, stall activation, door-to door campaigning, sampling to readers etc. Conduct corporate outreach for bulk subscriptions and set up booking stalls in corporate canteens and common areas. Collaborate with city sales team for joint beat working and market presence. Organize and execute reader acquisition campaigns in housing societies (pre-planned schedules). Meet vendors along with Sales team to gather relevant data for potential subscription targeting. Scout and compile new data sources (offline/online) to aid acquisition strategy. Office- MIS (9.30 hrs – 11.30 hrs ) Reporting, coordination, performance tracking, and planning future activities. Work closely with backend and sales teams for smooth campaign execution. Share insights from field activities for internal review and strategy alignment.
