Job Summary:- We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead the Sourcing and Commercial function for our Automotive Seating Division. The role will be responsible for supplier development, price panel management, cost negotiations, global sourcing, and managing anti-dumping duties (ADD) impacts, ensuring cost-effective procurement aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: o Lead end-to-end sourcing for seating components including structure, foam, trim, mechanisms, and plastics. o Develop and manage local and global supplier networks ensuring cost, quality, and delivery (QCD) targets. o Implement cost-saving strategies, supplier consolidation, and localization initiatives. Price Panel & Cost Negotiation: o Create and maintain price panels for key commodities and components. o Lead commercial negotiations and finalize pricing based on cost breakdowns, market trends, and benchmarks. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Program Management) to achieve target costs. Supplier Relationship & Performance Management: o Evaluate, develop, and monitor supplier performance through audits and QCD indicators. o Drive strategic partnerships and long-term agreements with key suppliers. New Program Development Support: o Manage sourcing timelines and deliverables for new launches and engineering changes. o Support APQP, sourcing gates, and SOP readiness for new products. Commercial Governance: o Ensure procurement documentation, contracts, cost sheets, and approvals are in place as per internal policies. o Maintain accurate records for audits and commercial transparency. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (Mechanical/Automobile preferred). MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus. Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in the automotive seating industry. Proven expertise in cost negotiations, price panel management, and global sourcing. Sound knowledge of ADD regulations, customs duty structures, and import management. Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
