Job Title: Automation QA Engineer Location: Pune – Work From Office Experience Level: 2–5 Years Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in Software Quality Assurance and hands-on experience in automation scripting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python (and have working knowledge of Golang), experienced in both manual and automated testing, and comfortable working across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) on both Windows and Linux platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications by designing, developing, and executing robust test automation frameworks and scripts.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts for web, API, and backend services. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Perform manual and automated testing across on-prem and cloud environments. Create, manage, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts. Validate that software meets business and technical requirements prior to release. Analyze test results, log defects, and provide detailed reports with root cause analysis. Enhance automation coverage and testing efficiency continuously. Maintain and manage test environments on Windows and Linux. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Required Skills & Qualifications Strong SQA background with experience in both manual and automation testing. Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Golang. Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework). Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.Nice to Have Experience with performance and security testing tools. Knowledge of containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
