Job Title: Software Tester Location:Hybrid – Pune, Maharashtra Job Type:Permanent, Full-timeOverview: We are seeking an experiencedSoftware Testerto join our dynamic team atDecision Management Solutions . This role requires a strong background in software quality assurance and testing methodologies, with hands-on experience in testing enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring our software solutions are reliable, efficient, and meet business expectations.Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Documentation Analyse project requirements and create detailed, structured test plans and test cases. Ensure complete coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Maintain proper documentation for all test activities. Test Execution Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing. Record test results and log defects with clarity and precision. Defect Management Identify and report software issues using tools such as JIRA or similar. Work closely with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve defects. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure effective test coverage. Communicate testing status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly. Automation & Tools Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools likeSelenium ,JUnit , or similar. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and tools. Process Improvement & Best Practices Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes. Contribute ideas for improving product quality and team efficiency.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of5 years of experiencein software testing. Strong understanding ofsoftware QA methodologies , tools, and processes. Experience withautomated testing tools(e.g., Selenium, JUnit). Good working knowledge ofSDLC and Agile methodologies . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge ofJavaor other programming languages. Experience withDecision Management Solutionsor similar enterprise systems. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Exposure to CI/CD environments and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Additional Information: Work Location:Hybrid (Pune, Maharashtra) Experience Required:5+ years in a software testing role.
