Job Role: The Hindu Group is seeking a Performance Marketing Leader to grow paid acquisition of Digital Subscriptions. We are looking for passionate professionals with strong problem-solving skills. He/she will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired business objectives. What's expected of you? ● Lead a team of Performance Marketers responsible for the following: ○ Creating and planning a variety of PPC campaigns across a range of digital channels (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Quora, Bing, etc.) ○ Overseeing existing campaigns and making recommendations on how to optimise them to drive subscriptions at set ROI ○ Working with the creative team (internal and external) to create and optimize campaigns for paid channels ● As a leader, these would be your individual responsibilities ○ Owning all the budgets allocated for paid campaigns and ensure outcomes based on overall RoI for the Subscription business ○ Work with the App Growth team to optimise app install and in-app conversion campaigns to drive revenue and engagement ○ Analysing trends in paid campaigns and making data-driven decisions ○ Working closely with Product, Editorial, Tech & Subscription teams to enable new campaigns and audience strategies to drive the Subscription funnel (free trials, paid trials, engagement, subscriptions, renewals, etc.) ○ Producing detailed analyses and reports of paid campaigns and presenting it to various stakeholders in the business This role is for you if you tick these boxes: ● B.E./B.Tech + MBA from a reputed university or relevant entrepreneurial experience ● 4-6 years of overall experience (minimum), with at least 1-2 years of experience managing a team ● Hands on experience running ads for B2C businesses on Google Ads, Bing Ads and Facebook/Instagram (Meta) Ads (at least 2-3 years directly managing budgets over INR 50 lakh per month) ● Experience with Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Quora Ads, and other similar paid channels would be a brownie point ● Understand the technical aspects of Performance Marketing well (Google Tag Manager, Pixels, Goals, etc.) and communicate requirements to the Technology/Product teams to facilitate growth ● Prior experience with app attribution tools such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, etc. and an understanding of the technicalities (and shortcomings) of attribution models would be a plus ● Comfortable with Google Analytics and other Analytical tools to help make decisions ● Understand lookalike audiences, re-targeting/re-marketing, dynamic/shopping ads well, and you understand the right strategy to allocate budgets by audiences ● Strong people skills and the ability to influence people to get things done - This is critical as there are multiple stakeholders in the business.
