Requirements We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Senior SEO Specialist and Customer Support to lead SchoolCues’ organic search and support efforts. This role will drive visibility and qualified traffic from school administrators, educators, and parents who are actively searching for school management solutions. You'll work closely with our marketing, product, and content teams to create a robust SEO engine that supports our lead generation and customer acquisition goals. Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to grow organic traffic and qualified leads Conduct deep keyword research focused on K–12 education, private school trends, and administrative software needs Optimize landing pages, blog content, knowledge base articles, and product pages for search intent and conversions Work cross-functionally to implement technical SEO fixes (page speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data, indexing) Lead backlink-building efforts through partnerships, guest posts, and outreach to education-focused publications Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Looker Studio to analyze traffic trends, rankings, and performance Collaborate with content creators to build a scalable, SEO-first editorial calendar focused on school leaders and decision-makers Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and search behavior trends in the education technology space Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in SEO, with a strong track record in B2B SaaS; experience in EdTech or K–12 space is a plus Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO Strong command of tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), GSC, Ahrefs, SpyFu SEMrush Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, or Webflow; HTML/CSS knowledge preferred Excellent writing/editing skills and an eye for search-intent content optimization Proven ability to turn SEO data into actionable growth strategies Familiarity with AI-driven SEO tools and automation techniques for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Knowledge of CRO, UX, and content strategy fundamentals Passion for education technology and improving school operations
