Job Title: Tableau Developer Experience:5–7 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developerwith 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize impactful dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command ofTableau ,complex SQL , and data governance best practices. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that drive strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboardsthat provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Optimize dashboard performanceand user experience using best practices in Tableau and SQL. Write and maintaincomplex SQL queriesto extract and transform data from various sources. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders totranslate business requirementsinto effective reporting solutions. Maintain and enhance data models , ensuring accuracy, integrity, and scalability. Implement and follow data governance, data quality, and metadata standards. Create and maintaintechnical documentationfor dashboards, data models, and reporting processes. Provide support and training to end-users to ensure consistent and effective use of reporting tools. Participate in code reviews, QA processes, and performance tuning activities.Must-Have Skills: 5–7 years of experience working as a Tableau Developer in an enterprise environment. Strong hands-on experience withTableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online . Expertise inwriting and optimizing complex SQL queriesacross large datasets. Proven ability todesign and optimize Tableau dashboardsthat are performant, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs. Experience in collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights. Proficient inmaintaining data models , ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Knowledge and experience withdata governance practicesand reporting documentation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with other BI tools. Exposure to cloud data platforms Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Experience working in cross-functional teams involving data engineering, product, and business teams. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.
