The company is a US-based multinational in the oil and gas industry.Role Position:Senior Design Engineer Number of positions:02 Location:ChakanJob Summary: The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing products for the oil and gas industry in accordance with international standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop components and assemblies as per customer and project requirements Create 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor or equivalent CAD software Conduct design calculations including pressure rating, torque, flow, stress-strain analysis, and material/coating selection Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation Coordinate with production, quality, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality Support prototype development, testing, and validation Maintain and update design records and engineering documentation Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Resolve technical issues during manufacturingRequirements: Education : BE in Mechanical Engineering or higher Experience : Minimum of 5 years in design engineering within the oil and gas industry Skills : Proficiency in CAD software, strong knowledge of industry standards, and expertise in engineering documentationInterested candidates can share their CV at careers@ or apply through LinkedIn.
