This is a part-time unpaid remote internship.We are looking for a passionate and motivatedWordPress Web Developer Internto join the team of a medical magazine. This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in website development, learn the latest web technologies, and contribute to real-world projects. As a WordPress Developer Intern, you will be building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in web development and grow their technical skills in a professional environment. This role comes with a lot of autonomy and an opportunity to experiment and learn.Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing, developing, and customizing WordPress websites and themes. Support the team in maintaining and updating existing websites. Implement responsive design to ensure websites are mobile-friendly. Work with plugins and widgets to enhance website functionality. Assist in website performance optimization (speed, SEO, etc.). Troubleshoot and fix bugs or coding issues. Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website updates. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.Requirements: Good understanding & hands-on experience of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP. Knowledge of responsive design principles. Eagerness to learn and improve coding and development skills. Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Qualifications: Currently pursuing or already completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field. Portfolio of any web development projects (academic or personal) is a plus. Knowledge of JavaScript and Elementor/Divi Builder is an advantage.
