Senior Structural Engineer – Water/Wastewater InfrastructureRemote (India)|Work with a U.S. Engineering Firm Full-Time | 9+ Years Experience | Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST Salary:₹1,00,000 – ₹1,50,000/monthWe are a U.S.-based engineering consulting firm specializing in water and wastewater treatment facilities. We are seeking aSenior Structural Engineerto lead the design of tanks, bulkheads, walkways, pipe supports, and concrete foundations for U.S.-based projects. This is a long-term, full-time remote role for India-based engineers with advanced technical skills and proven U.S. code experience.f you are a highly experienced structural engineer with strong technical capabilities and a background in WTP/WWTP site design, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Do1. Tank Design Perform detailed structural design of reinforced concrete tanks for water and wastewater facilities. Account for seismic forces, hydrostatic pressures, thermal loads, and settlement considerations. Ensure compliance with U.S. industry standards for liquid-containing structures and environmental engineering concrete. UseSTAADandSAP2000for structural analysis andMathcadfor engineering calculations. 2. Bulkhead Design Design steel bulkheads to withstand soil and water pressures, surcharge loads, and dynamic forces. Optimize member sizing, bracing, and connection details for strength and stability. Develop designs per U.S. structural steel and loading standards. Model structures inRISA 3Dand prepare precise calculation packages inMathcad . 3. Walkway & Pipe Support Design Engineer steel walkways, platforms, and pipe support frames for dead, live, wind, and seismic loads. Integrate with piping layouts and mechanical systems while ensuring accessibility and safety. Perform 3D analysis inRISA 3Dand document results inMathcad . 4. Concrete Pad & Pedestal Design Design reinforced concrete pads and pedestals for pumps, tanks, and mechanical units. Incorporate vibration control, load distribution, and anchorage requirements. Analyze foundations usingRISA FoundationandSAFE2016 , check capacity inSPColumn , and prepare reports inMathcad . General Responsibilities Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, and design calculation packages per U.S. codes. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process teams for integrated designs. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction teams during execution.What We’re Looking For9+ yearsof structural engineering experience in water/wastewater or similar industrial facilities. Expert skills inSTAAD, SAP2000, RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, SAFE2016, SPColumn, Mathcad . Strong knowledge of U.S. structural codes for concrete, steel, seismic, and wind design. Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).PreferredExperience with U.S.-based clients/projects.
