Designation:                   National Sales & Marketing Head (Birla Durotool) Location:                          Mumbai, Maharashtra Reporting to:                  MD Key Responsibility Areas: Ø Responsible for Sales Budget, Business Growth, Share of Business, Introduction of New Product Lines, managing performance of Carbide Products and ensue Product Profitability. Ø People performance Management, Goal Setting, People Development. Ø Building Sales focused through marketing activities & product trials through FSEs. Ø Achieving sales targets for BDTPL products in the National Market. This includes developing and implementing effective sales strategies, analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and driving the sales team to achieve revenue goals. Ø Establish guidelines for marketing efforts, including product catalogues, technical leaflets, and providing application parameters. Ø Building and leading a high-performing sales team. This involves recruiting and training sales engineers / executives, setting clear sales targets and performance expectations, providing coaching and guidance, and fostering a positive and motivated sales culture. Ø Monitoring and analyzing the activities of competitors in the similar products market. This involves staying updated on competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify areas for improvement and develop effective counter-strategies. Ø Determining the general pricing policy and obtaining approval for special pricing situations that deviate from the standard policy. Ø Conducting seminars and circulating success stories and technical bulletins. Ø Keeping track of samples and maintaining a development plan for product trials and approvals. Ø Continuously improving sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This involves identifying bottlenecks, streamlining sales workflows, implementing CRM systems, and leveraging technology to automate and optimize sales operations. Education / Experience: Education : B.E. Mechanical / B.Tech. Mechanical Experience : Ø 15~20 years of experience, preferably working in the FMCG / Cement / Paints Industries & abrasive products. Ø Should ideally have a good understanding of sales in manufacturing companies. Ø Should have PAN India exposure Ø Candidates possess knowledge of cutting tools & Abrasive will get added advantage. Ø Must have ability to work with and lead a team. Ø Experience with stakeholder management in complicated settings and with diverse groups of stakeholder Ø CRM & SAP experience is must.
