House of Spices (HOS) is a deeply rooted brand within the food industry, leading the specialty food and ingredient category for over 50 years. Fast-forward from its start as a homegrown family business, House of Spices has become a middle-market wholesale/manufacturer which includes multiple distribution networks across the country. Although the business has and continues to expand rapidly, the brand is still family-owned and home-based out of the NYC metro area. We are looking for talented individuals to join our ACARE culture! The Graphic Designer is responsible for performing Graphic Designer duties on a professional level and works closely with House of Spices Inc., Marketing Team, Purchase and staff in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas of House of Spices Inc., India: Responsible for creating branding, sales and marketing collateral for HOS – this could include corporate brochures, posters, signage, logos etc. Design animated visuals of packaging concepts in both 2D and 3D, highlighting design, functionality, and brand elements. Create GIFs, motion graphics, moving videos, banners, and digital marketing materials. Use AI tools and design software to develop mockups, videos, and presentations. Develop innovative packaging designs and layouts for various products that are visually appealing and practical. Work with the marketing team to produce motion graphics for presentations, ads, and social media campaigns. Create digital mockups and animated prototypes for internal and client presentations. Collaborate with creative, marketing, and product teams on animated packaging demos, product videos, and promotional content. Experiment with new animation tools and techniques to make engaging and interactive visuals. Design concepts, graphics, and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and websites. Maintain brand consistency in all packaging designs, following brand guidelines. Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts to effectively communicate creative ideas. Prepare and present mockups and prototypes to stakeholders. Liaise with external printers to ensure quality and timely production. Work with team members to deliver projects on time. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to create packaging that aligns with product positioning, target audience, and market trends. Preferred Education and Experience Diploma in Graphic Designing or equivalent qualification /Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field. Three to Five years of experience as a Graphic Designer Expert in design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw Knowledge of FMCG packing, print proofing. Creative, adaptable to trends and conceptual ideas. Excellent communication and people skills Aptitude in problem-solving Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
