You will be responsible for developing and executing platform-specific strategies across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn , planning and executing content calendars, monitoring performance, and fostering community engagement. This role also demands a strong understanding of media copyright, intellectual property compliance , and a background in media or communications to ensure our campaigns are both creative and compliant. The ideal candidate will combine creative storytelling with platform-tailored content optimization , trendspotting , and data-driven decision-making, collaborating closely with designers, content creators, and campaign strategists to amplify our narrative and sustain audience interest. Strong political acumen, exceptional English copywriting skills, and an ability to spot viral hooks from ongoing news cycles are essential for success. Key Responsibilities Account, Content & Platform Management Manage and maintain multiple official social media accounts , ensuring consistent voice, tone, and brand identity. Serve as the main decision-maker for platforms, with deep expertise in Business Suite for publishing, scheduling, and insights. Develop and execute strategies tailored to the unique features, formats, and audience behaviors of each platform. Plan and execute a structured content calendar aligned with campaign milestones and strategic messaging. Craft, adapt, and optimize videos, graphics, and written content per platform to maximize reach, engagement, and virality. Audience Engagement & Community Building Interact with followers, respond to queries, and foster meaningful dialogue to build an engaged online community. Monitor sentiment, flag trends, and proactively incorporate emerging social media trends into campaign strategies. Performance Tracking, Analytics & Optimization Use analytics tools to track key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions. Leverage advanced analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics ) to inform strategy. Adjust posting strategy based on data insights, A/B testing results, and campaign objectives. Media Compliance & Copyright Oversight Ensure all creative content respects copyright laws, licensing terms, and platform guidelines. Advise on safe usage of third-party materials and work with legal/compliance teams where required. Collaboration, Visual Communication & Campaign Alignment Work closely with creative designers, content writers, and campaign leads to align messaging across all touchpoints. Possess an understanding of visual communication principles to ensure content is both aesthetically effective and strategically aligned. Coordinate with digital marketing and monitoring teams to integrate paid and organic strategies effectively. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. Experience & Technical Skills Proven experience managing high-profile social media accounts for brands, causes, or campaigns. Strong understanding of platform mechanics, audience psychology, and what makes content go viral. Strong understanding of media copyright and intellectual property considerations. Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer , or equivalent. Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other platform-native dashboards. Ability to create, curate, and adapt content for multiple platforms in Tamil and English. Soft Skills Strong communication skills in Tamil and English . Creative, detail-oriented, and able to balance storytelling with data-driven decision-making. Passion for social media trends and innovation.
