Operating in both the USA and India.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and technically sound audit professional to join our Audit & Assurance practice as an Associate Director/ Director. This leadership role involves managing assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of privately held, mid-market, and large unlisted clients. You will play a key role in end-to-end audit delivery, drive quality initiatives, and contribute to the growth and development of the team.Location: BengaluruExperience: 8–12 yearsLevel: Associate Director/ DirectorBusiness Unit: Audit & AssuranceResponsibilities & DutiesLead and manage statutory audit engagements for promoter-driven, mid-sized and large unlisted companies across various sectors.Oversee all phases of the audit process including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and finalization, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.Actively participate in audit execution — from designing sampling strategies to reviewing working papers and addressing audit issues.Interpret and apply Indian accounting standards (Ind AS / AS), auditing standards (SAs) and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act.Foster strong client relationships through a deep understanding of their business, internal controls, and financial processes.Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, quality and continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal teams including Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing and Indirect Tax to deliver integrated client service.Skills and QualificationsChartered Accountant with 8–12 years of relevant experience in statutory audit and assurance.Strong technical knowledge of Indian accounting standards, Companies Act audit requirements, and auditing standards.Proven experience managing audits for private clients, mid-sized businesses, large unlisted companies, or listed entities.Practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality, risk management, and value-added insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements and teams effectively.Professionals from audit firms (Big 4, mid-tier or boutique) or robust in-house audit backgrounds are welcome.
