The CFO will work closely with the leadership team to drive sustainable growth, ensure financial compliance, and enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic and competitive market.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on long-term financial planning, risk management, and investment opportunities.Drive profitability through efficient capital allocation, cost optimization, and revenue growth initiatives.Financial Management & ReportingOversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and working capital management.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports in compliance with statutory requirements.Monitor financial performance, conduct variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to leadership.Compliance, Risk & GovernanceEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, tax compliance, and corporate governance standards.Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.Liaise with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.Operational ExcellenceStreamline and enhance financial processes, systems, and policies for improved efficiency and transparency.Oversee procurement, inventory management, and pricing strategies in collaboration with other departments to optimize margins.Lead treasury management, including debt and equity financing, to support growth initiatives.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and professional growth.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function.Qualifications & ExperienceChartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.Experience in retail, luxury goods, jewellery, or related sectors preferred.Proven track record in strategic financial planning, fundraising, and business transformation.Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance, and Indian accounting standards.Skills & CompetenciesExceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.High integrity, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
