Job Description for GM- Operations-Role Summary:The General Manager – Operations will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of multiple hypermarket/supermarket locations across Kerala. The role involves strategic planning, people management, sales and margin enhancement, customer experience, and operational excellence to ensure sustained growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily operations across all hypermarket and supermarket stores in Kerala.Drive the profitability and customer footfall.Ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain coordination.Maintain high standards in store presentation/layout, service, and hygiene.Lead, train, and motivate store managers and frontline staff.Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.Profile Requirements:Graduate/Postgraduate in Business or Retail Management.10+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in hypermarkets.Strong leadership, commercial, and operational skills.Preferred- Familiarity with Kerala’s retail market and local consumer behavior.Proficiency in Malayalam is a plus
