Role Overview: We are seeking passionate and qualified Maths and Science educators to join our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the IB curriculum and be capable of delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that develop critical thinking and real-world application of scientific and mathematical concepts. Key Responsibilities For PYP (Primary Years Programme): Design and deliver transdisciplinary Maths and Science lessons in alignment with PYP principles. Integrate inquiry-based learning and concept-driven instruction. Foster curiosity, collaboration, and creativity among young learners. Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to ensure a holistic learning experience. Use formative and summative assessment tools to monitor and report student progress. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Actively participate in PYP planning meetings, training, and school events. For MYP (Middle Years Programme): Plan and deliver subject-specific units in Mathematics and Sciences aligned with the MYP framework. Use the MYP objectives and assessment criteria to structure lessons and evaluate student performance. Facilitate interdisciplinary projects and encourage real-world application of concepts. Provide feedback that promotes student reflection and improvement. Support students in personal project development and ATL (Approaches to Learning) skill acquisition. Maintain accurate records of academic performance and contribute to report writing. Engage in collaborative planning and ongoing curriculum development. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Education or relevant subject area (Maths/Science). IB-certified training in PYP and/or MYP (preferred min 2 – 5 years). 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in an IB or international curriculum setting. Strong knowledge of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
