About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with platforms like WordPress and Shopify, and a solid understanding of web design, customization, and maintenance. Proficiency in HTML for emailers and landing pages is a must.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress, Shopify, and similar CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, Wix, Framer). Customize themes, plugins, and templates to match brand aesthetics and functionality. Build and code HTML emailers/newsletters compatible with major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.). Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Set up and manage basic e-commerce functionalities including payment gateways, shipping, and third-party app integrations. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content teams to implement site updates. Troubleshoot bugs and ensure cross-browser and device compatibility. Stay updated on web trends, tools, and technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in web development. Proficient in WordPress and Shopify (custom theme development is a plus). Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic level). Experience with building HTML email templates and understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo). Familiarity with Webflow, Wix, or Framer is a bonus. Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance tools. Eye for detail and design sensibility is a plus.Preferred (Not Mandatory): Knowledge of Liquid (Shopify templating language). Experience with Figma/Adobe XD to WordPress/Shopify conversion. Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM integrations.
