We are seeking a detail-oriented News Writer to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience reporting on global news, finance, markets, or business, with strong writing skills and a passion for breaking down complex financial topics for a diverse audience. This role requires original content creation with no reliance on AI-generated writing. Key Responsibilities: Write clear, concise, and engaging news articles covering world news, financial markets, business developments, and key industries such as oil & gas, automotive, and tech Monitor breaking news and market trends to deliver timely and relevant stories Conduct research and fact-check to ensure accuracy and credibility Stay up-to-date with industry news and financial regulations Ability to spot trends and also write evergreen articles Requirements: 1-2 years of professional experience writing news or analysis in finance, business, world news or related fields Excellent research and writing skills Strong understanding of global markets and key industries (crude oil, automotive, technology preferred) Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Commitment to producing content with no AI-generated writing Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus Working days: Sunday - Friday. Fixed off on Saturday. Work hours: 11.30 am to 8.30 pm Permanent remote working
