JOB DESCRIPTION: Manitou Equipment India in Greater Noida, UP, India is having an opening for Design Lead Position for NPIP Projects in Aerial Work platform Business.Position is critical for introduction of new range of MEWPS to cater global markets.Specific responsibilities: Designing of Hydraulic Architecture and integration of machine hydraulics with electrical control software. Machine hydraulics aggregates selection like MCV , Pump , pressure reducing valves , hydraulic drive motors , pressure sensors, hydraulics Rams selection. Selection of Hydraulics rams , Ram buckling calculation , motor torque calculation as per machine gradeability performance requirement. Good understanding of machine speed calculation and cor-relation with flow and capable of software tuning . Good understanding on Hydraulics close loop system and hydrostatic drive . Checking of 3D Design layouting , 2D drawings , DFMEA , DFM/TFR review and closure with design updates . Integration of various subsystem in CAD and control of combination master in PLM . Involvement in Proto machine built, analysis & resolution of machine concerns. Involvement in cooling trials of engine and hydraulics system . Preparation of SOR , Sign-off documentation and technical reviews with suppliers. Coordination with cross functional team for implementation of design changes on product. Good understanding of NPD Process and various Gate process requirements Good understanding of problem solving techniques like 8D , Fishbone diagrams and Pareto charts for hydraulics related problems.Educational & Experience & Other Qualification: B.Tech/ M.Tech ( Mechanical Engineer ) , Experience : 12-14 years
