Role of Manager – Special EducationSr. Manager Special Education is responsible for conceptualization, creation and establishment of ‘Special Education Support Wing’ for LM Centers for ensuring consistent and effective roll out and implementation of inclusive education policies & practices across all centers. She/He will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, training, compliance support, and quality assurance to address special education needs and promote inclusivity in our centers.Key Responsibilities 1. Policy Implementation & Oversight · Adapt and implement the parent organization’s special education policies across all locations. · Ensure that centers adhere to national and regional laws related to early childhood special education · Develop Center-specific guidelines for inclusive classroom practices. 2. Support & Compliance · Guide partners in setting up infrastructure to support children with special needs. · Conduct regular audits and compliance checks for special education services. · Serve as the point of contact for our Partners on special education matters. 3. Training & Capacity Building · Design and deliver training modules for LM staff on: o Early identification and intervention. o Inclusive teaching strategies. o Legal and ethical aspects of special education. · Mentor and supervise special educators deployed across centers.4. Assessment & Early Intervention · Oversee implementation of developmental screenings across LM centers. · Coordinate early referrals and collaborate with third-party experts or therapists as needed. · Standardize tools and practices for observation, reporting, and progress monitoring. 5. Quality Assurance · Develop benchmarks for measuring quality of special education services across centers. · Monitor student outcomes, teacher performance, and parent satisfaction related to inclusion. · Suggest interventions or improvements to centers falling below standards. 6. Curriculum & Resource Development · Collaborate with curriculum teams to integrate accommodations and modifications into the preschool curriculum. · Provide franchise centers with access to materials and resources (e.g., visual aids, sensory tools). 7. Parent Engagement & Communication · Create templates and support tools to help LM centers engage with parents of children with special needs. · Handle escalated concerns from parents regarding special education services. 8. Cross-functional Coordination · Work with academic, operations, and business development teams to ensure special education is factored into overall preschool strategy. · Participate in the onboarding of new franchisees with focus on inclusive education readiness.9. Reporting & Documentation · Maintain centralized reports and documentation from all franchisee preschools. · Track data on student progress, program impact, and compliance for management review. 10. Key Competencies Required · Master’s in special education or related field. · Experience working in multi-site or franchise-based education models. · Strong understanding of special education compliance and service delivery. · Excellent training and communication skills. · Data-driven decision-making ability. · Familiarity with regional/local regulatory frameworks.
