The role entails handling critical incidents, designing recovery strategies, and mentoring junior engineers, while ensuring security, scalability, and high availability of storage platforms.Key Responsibilities: Lead Design, architecture backup and optimization using Commvault backup solutions. Design, configure, and troubleshoot NAS/SAN environments, including iSCSI and Fibre Channel Upgrade Commvault infrastructure (CommServe, Media Agents). Define and optimize global deduplication and storage policies. Automate backup tasks using scripts/APIs Integrate Commvault with cloud storage (Azure, AWS). Review licensing, capacity, and resource utilization. Lead DR planning and execution for critical apps. Design cross-site replication and copy policies.
