Key Responsibilities: 1.Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition Develop and implement workforce plans in line with production forecasts and business needs. Lead end-to-end recruitment sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding ensuring theright people are in place at the right time . Plan to retain critical talent through engagement initiatives, career paths and development programs. 2.Performance & Talent Management Deploy and oversee a Performance Management System (PMS) tailored to plant operations. Conduct competency mapping, identify future leaders and support leadership development. 3.Regulatory Compliance & Industrial Relations Ensure compliance with HR-related labor laws, Industrial Relations norms, safety and environmental regulations. Liaise with government bodies- Factory Inspector, Labour Department, etc. for necessary compliance and audits. 4.Employee Relations & Grievance Handling Establish open channels for grievances; support supervisors to foster an inclusive and communicative environment. Address disciplinary matters responsibly, conduct domestic enquiries when needed and manage resolutions effectively. 5.Health, Safety & Welfare Promote and supervise welfare initiatives, ensuring safe and healthy workplace conditions. Collaborate with plant safety officers to integrate HR policies with OSHA/cGMP safety protocols. 6.Culture & Change Management Act as a change agent, embedding company values and ethical behaviors at the shop floor and across teams. Drive organizational culture employee engagement, recognition programs and reinforcement of company values. 7.Administrative Oversight Oversee administrative HR functions attendance, payroll coordination, HR documentation, employee records. Implement HRIS tools for efficiency and generate HR metrics to influence business decisions. 8.Leadership & Stakeholder Management Mentor line managers and supervisors, enhancing their HR capability and aligning department goals. Foster communication and HR alignment with all employee levels and functional leadership.
