Job Description – Certification Sales Head (India) Location:Kolkata CTC:Up to ₹22 LPA Level:Sr. Manager / Deputy General Manager About the Role We are looking for a results-driven and experiencedCertification Sales Headto spearhead our certification business across India. The role requires strong expertise inNOP, NPOP, G-GAPand additional certification schemes such asBRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC, and GFSI-recognized programs . The ideal candidate will have the capability to independently generate revenue, prepare and execute theAnnual Operating Plan (AOP) , and ensure consistent achievement of both individual and team targets. Key Responsibilities Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan with clear targets, growth strategies, and action steps. Track progress and ensure consistent achievement of both personal and team AOP goals. Revenue Generation & Business Development: Take ownership of individual sales targets along with managing team performance. Identify, pursue, and convert high-potential opportunities inNOP, NPOP, and G-GAP(priority focus), along with BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC, and other GFSI-recognized schemes. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance certification sales team across India. Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline meetings, and forecast updates. Client & Market Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies. Collaboration & Service Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. Monitor service quality and address client concerns proactively. Candidate Requirements Experience:12–15 years in certification sales, with proven exposure toNOP, NPOP, and G-GAP ; experience in BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC, and GFSI schemes is a plus. Leadership Skills:Ability to lead teams across geographies while driving both personal and collective targets. Industry Knowledge:Deep understanding of certification processes, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics. Education:Graduate in Agriculture / Food Technology / Life Sciences preferred; MBA is an advantage. Travel:Willingness to travel extensively across India.
