Associate CA (Indirect Tax) - Bengaluru Job Summary: A leading alternative asset Manager and real estate developer company with over 800+ employees is keen to hire a recently Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Accountant for the Associate designation who will be responsible for Indirect tax compliances, GST, tax audits and maintaining reconciliation between books and GST returns. Location: Central Bengaluru Designation: Associate Roles and Responsibilities: Handling GST compliance including computation, preparation and filing of returns. Handling ITC reconciliation and managing correspondences with relevant stakeholders. Analyzing input tax credit eligibility on various procurements as part of PO approval and GST compliance process. Maintaining reconciliation between books and GST returns and relevant tax ledgers. Facilitate GST audits and assessments by tax authorities by carrying out technical research, drafting submissions, and representation before tax authorities. Support internal functions in handling business queries. Interaction with consultants on various tax compliance and litigation activities. Working knowledge of direct tax laws including withholding taxes and computation of income. Requirements: Strong knowledge of GST laws, compliance procedures, and return filing requirements. Proficiency in ITC reconciliation, tax ledger maintenance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate having strong analytical skills and hands on experience with ERP systems and MS Office. Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Education: Semi qualified Chartered Accountant / Chartered Accountant Experience: Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+ years / Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years in GST compliance, audits.
