Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Assistant Technical Manager – Façade to support our technical management team in overseeing façade engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project tracking, quality control, performance analysis, resource planning, and team coordination. This role demands excellent knowledge of façade systems, strong organizational skills, people management capabilities, and the ability to drive technical excellence and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Tracking Maintain and update project trackers; share project status reports with the (NL) team twice weekly. Prepare weekly planning reports highlighting delays or pending data from the NL team. Error Analysis & Quality Control Analyze errors from NL-commented sets; categorize and record errors for trend analysis. Provide continuous feedback to engineers to minimize recurring errors and improve drawing quality. Update and maintain "Lessons Learned" documents Rework data to assess additional hours spent on projects. Performance Management & Reporting Develop and maintain a monthly scorecard for Team Lead (TL) performance. Conduct regular performance reviews with engineers & Team leads and provide motivation and guidance for improvement. Support in preparation and analysis of engineering hour budgets per project. Team Support & Leadership Act as a point of contact and solution provider for Team Leads regarding project constraints. Take over the responsibilities of the Technical Manager in his/her absence. Manage project hours allocation and assist in effective resource planning. Recruitment & Training Review and screen new resumes for technical roles, conduct initial interviews, and identify enthusiastic, technically sound candidates. Identify technical or software training needs for the team and coordinate training sessions accordingly. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in façade engineering and related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) Good command in MS Office, Excel…etc Minimum 10-15 years of experience in façade industry with exposure to project management and team leadership. Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving , decision making capabilities. Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively in a fast-paced environment. ·       A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism. Preferred Attributes Prior experience in working with international stakeholders or NL-based teams. Proven ability to analyze project data and generate actionable insights. Exposure to lean engineering practices or continuous improvement methodologies.
