Currently we are looking for B1, B2 or B1+B2 licensed and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for our EASA Part145 approved Line Station in Chennai (MAA) / India. Job Description: To perform all aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with his EASA Part145 approved company authorization granted by the Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TM CAD) To perform and issue all necessary maintenance records and reports (CRS, Technical Log Book, Technical Delay Reports, Daily Status) To ensure that aircrafts are maintained in accordance with up-to-date aircraft manuals and MOE of our EASA Part 145 Organization To use necessary tools and equipments for aircraft maintenance and ensure that all tools and equipments are servicable and calibrated To ensure that all parts are servicable and effective which are used on the aircraft. To order necessary components and consumable parts which are used for repairs, defect rectification and scheduled maintenance checks To join flights for trouble shooting and inflight inspections of aircraft system failures in case of need Job Qualification: Holder of an EASA Part66 license or a ‘Government of India Aircraft Maintanance Engineer License’, issued by the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) with B1, B2 or B1+B2 categories. Having type ratings of B737NG (CFM56-7). Additionally, PART147 or CAR-147 recognized practical and theoretical type training certificates should be presented. Having 6 months’ active experience within the last 2 years period on the B737NG (CFM56-7) / B373MAX (Leap-1B) aircraft types. This should be presented as documented by previous company authorizations. Having a minimum 5 years total experience in an approved maintenance organisation, 3 years of which must be on the B737NG (CFM56-7) / B373MAX (Leap-1B) as B1, B2 or B1/B2 certifying staff. Must be over 21 years of age Right to live and work in India Open to work flexible, in shifts and once required with duty layovers at other line stations.
