Company Description Insys Digital Systems Pvt Ltd, part of The Insys Group established in 1985, was founded in 2014 to address the evolving demands of the Railway Safety Signalling sector. Specializing in the design and development of mission-critical safety systems, Insys has proven expertise in SSDAC and HASSDAC. Headquartered in Bengaluru, Insys is expanding with a cutting-edge 25,000 sq. ft. manufacturing unit at the KIADB Aerospace SEZ. Our advanced solutions, including MSDAC, FNMUX, RDPMS, TMS/CTC, and Electronic Interlocking (EI) systems, drive innovation in rail infrastructure. Role Description We are looking for a seasoned Embedded Engineer with 10–12 years of experience in embedded system design and project management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading design initiatives, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards preferably in Safety critical Systems. The candidate will lead a team of 10 engineers with complete autonomy over the R&D function, reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors. This is an in-office role based at our Bangalore headquarters. This is a full-time role for a Senior Project Manager who is a seasoned Embedded Engineer with 10–12 years of experience in embedded system design and project management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading design initiatives, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards preferably in Safety critical Systems. The role requires coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline. • 10–12 years of experience in embedded system design and development. • Strong knowledge of C/C++, LDRA knowledge, microcontrollers, RTOS, RAMS and circuit design. • Experience in handling project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. • Exposure to railway signaling systems or safety-critical applications is a plus. • Strong documentation and technical writing skills. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded systems for signalling applications. • Oversee end-to-end project management from concept to deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, QA, and production. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including RDSO technical specifications and SIL-4. • Review and approve technical documents, design specifications, and test plans. • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
