Company Description KNK Ship Management is a marine service provider in India, holding an RPSL license issued by D.G Shipping. We manage and provide technical services for over 40 tugs of the Adani Group and 10 tugs from our ownership fleet. Our services span across dredging, harbor towage, pilotage, mooring, and other marine services at various ports in India. Additionally, we have an offshore division catering to various projects, including emergency towing and rescue towage operations. Our in-house training facility, approved by DG Shipping, focuses on the development and safety of Indian seafarers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a NWKO - Chief Officer/2nd Officer at KNK Ship Management. The Chief Officer/2nd Officer will be responsible for overseeing deck operations, ensuring the safety and security of the vessel, and managing the ship's crew. Responsibilities also include navigating the vessel, conducting inspections, maintaining logs, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations. The officer will be involved in cargo operations, emergency preparedness, and participating in drills and training exercises. Qualifications An NWKO certification Proven experience in deck operations, navigation, and managing crew Strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety procedures Ability to work effectively in an on-site role located in Mumbai Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field is preferred
