Job Summary: The Senior Specialist – Payroll Operations is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role ensures adherence to statutory regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in payroll operations. Key Responsibilities:  Payroll Processing:  Execute monthly payroll cycles for assigned regions/entities.  Validate inputs including attendance, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.  Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow.  Compliance & Audit:  Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.  Prepare and support internal and external audits related to payroll.  Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit readiness.  Reporting & Analytics:  Generate payroll reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for stakeholders.  Provide insights and recommendations for payroll cost optimization.  System & Process Improvements:  Support payroll system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process enhancements.  Participate in UAT and implementation of new payroll tools or modules.  Stakeholder Management:  Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery. Qualifications & Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.  5+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi-country or large-scale setup.  Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll analytics.  Having experience in SuccessFactors and SAP is an added advantage Skills & Competencies:  High attention to detail and accuracy.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.  Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.  Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
