Job Summary: The Senior Specialist – Payroll Operations is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role ensures adherence to statutory regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Execute monthly payroll cycles for assigned regions/entities. Validate inputs including attendance, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions. Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow. Compliance & Audit: Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare and support internal and external audits related to payroll. Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit readiness. Reporting & Analytics: Generate payroll reports, variance analysis, and dashboards for stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations for payroll cost optimization. System & Process Improvements: Support payroll system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process enhancements. Participate in UAT and implementation of new payroll tools or modules. Stakeholder Management: Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi-country or large-scale setup. Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll analytics. Having experience in SuccessFactors and SAP is an added advantage Skills & Competencies: High attention to detail and accuracy.
