About the Group: The wireless infrastructure product group focuses on the development of integrated transceiver SoCs targeted for wireless base station markets covering 3G/4G/4.5G/AAS technologies. Products based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures are developed by this team. These products comprise high performance RF front-end (wide-band VGA, Synthesizers, mixers, PPA, etc.), analog base-band, high speed converters (DAC, pipelined/Sigma-Delta ADCs), high speed digital front-end, signal processing algorithms, embedded micro-controllers, high speed interfaces, etc. These integrated transceivers support very high bandwidths, requiring high speed GHz data-path processing, and are developed in advanced sub-micron technology nodes, like 28 nm. Power consumption is a critical care about and needs to be addressed through differentiated architectures and designs. We are looking for passionate, creative and self-driven engineers who would challenge traditional techniques and come up with innovative solutions to make a difference. This team holds 150+ granted patents on these technologies. Work with Systems Engineering Team to define and architect new products. Design, supervision of layout, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits Interacting with Product Engineering to characterize Silicon and transfer integrated circuits from design to production. Work closely with Test Engineering to ensure proper test coverage of the product. Interacting with Application Engineering to ensure successful use of products in the market place What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications) Experienced with IC design and full development cycle from definition through release to production. Effective communication skills to interact with all stakeholders. Knowledge of analog circuit design techniques, including but not limited to operational amplifiers, voltage/current references, data converters, oscillators, and switched-capacitor circuits is necessary Knowledge of digital circuit design techniques, including but not limited to counters, timers, state-machines and combinational logic is also required Must be highly focused and remain committed to obtaining closure on project goals. Team and People Skills: The candidate should have good people skills to work closely with the layout, test and design team Preferred Skills/ Experience 2-5years of experience in analog development including designs of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Oscillators, DC-DC converters, LDOs, Bandgaps, Op-Amps, Comparators. Experience with Cadence design tools for analog/mixed-signal IC design
